Built by Real Estate Investors. Not Just People Who Finance Them.
JumpStart Private Lending is shaped by leadership with more than two decades of firsthand real estate investing, acquisition, capital and transaction experience. We look at financing through the same lens investors use to evaluate the deal itself: basis, property condition, renovation, value creation, execution, timing and exit.
Financing Decisions Are Stronger When the People Reviewing the Loan Understand the Property.
JumpStart's leadership brings complementary perspectives across capital structure, acquisition and transaction execution, and private real estate lending.
Structure Around the Deal.
Capital is evaluated in relation to collateral, basis, leverage, timing, execution risk and the path from acquisition to exit.
Understand What Happens After Closing.
Purchase price is only the beginning. Renovation, carrying cost, property condition, market positioning and exit execution all influence the quality of an investment transaction.
Match Capital to Purpose.
The objective is not to force every transaction into the same financing box. It is to understand what the borrower is trying to accomplish and whether the property, structure and exit align.
Experience Across Capital, Acquisition and Private Lending.
Different disciplines. Shared understanding of real estate investing, transaction execution and the capital behind the deal.
Michael Ligon
Michael Ligon is a Strategic Capital Investor whose work connects real estate, private capital, investment structure and opportunity evaluation. His approach centers on understanding what supports the capital, where risk exists, what timing matters and how structure can improve the path forward.
Over more than two decades, his investment work has included real estate acquisition, value-add property, private ventures, capital deployment and the development of systems designed to evaluate opportunity with greater discipline.
Michael has also contributed published perspective on real estate investing and private capital through national business publications including Forbes Business Council and Entrepreneur.
David Ligon
David Ligon brings the real estate operator's perspective to JumpStart. His work is centered on acquisition, opportunity evaluation, transaction execution and operational follow-through within active real estate markets.
His perspective starts at the front end of the deal: the asset, purchase basis, market conditions, timing and feasibility. From there, the focus becomes execution — moving an opportunity from evaluation through acquisition and into the strategy that makes the investment work.
That direct involvement in real-world transactions brings an important dimension to private lending: understanding what an investor is actually trying to accomplish after the financing closes.
Jorge Silberstein
Jorge Silberstein brings a financial, advisory and private lending perspective to JumpStart, complementing the real estate and capital experience of the broader leadership team.
His background includes financial and business advisory work, investor relationships and experience in real estate finance environments where capital structure, borrower objectives, collateral and execution must work together.
Within JumpStart, Jorge strengthens the lending side of the conversation — helping connect the economics of the property with the practical structure of investor-focused financing.
We Don't Just Finance Real Estate. We Operate Inside the Investment Business.
JumpStart's leadership perspective was built through more than two decades of real estate investing, capital deployment, acquisition activity and transaction execution.
That experience is visible across three distinct environments: published real estate finance knowledge, an operating real estate investment firm, and active Florida deal flow.
Real Estate Finance Perspective Published Nationally.
Michael Ligon has published real estate financing and investment strategy commentary through national business publications, including Forbes Business Council and Entrepreneur.
Those articles address hard money, private capital, creative financing and asset-backed strategies used by real estate investors.
The Ligon Group
The Ligon Group operates as a real estate investment firm focused on disciplined acquisition, asset management, portfolio development and long-term value creation.
That operating environment gives JumpStart leadership firsthand exposure to the same property-level decisions investors make when evaluating acquisitions, improvements, leverage and exits.
We Stay Close to the Market Through Only Direct Deals.
Our real estate ventures also keep us connected to active Florida investment-property deal flow through Only Direct Deals.
That means our understanding of investor demand, acquisition criteria, property condition, pricing, rehabilitation potential and market activity is not purely theoretical.
For JumpStart clients looking for another acquisition, that operating relationship also creates a direct path to available Florida investment opportunities.
Rebecca “Becca” Masters
Rebecca supports JumpStart's executive team through coordination, communication and day-to-day follow-through, helping keep borrower conversations, internal priorities and administrative details moving efficiently behind the scenes.
Serious About the Deal. Easy to Work With.
Private lending is ultimately a relationship business. Investors need clear communication, practical answers and people who understand what is happening inside the transaction.
JumpStart combines capital, real estate experience, lending knowledge and operational support in one team — with the goal of helping serious real estate investors move from opportunity to execution with greater clarity.
